ORAL HEALTH

Behavior plays an important role in determining the health status of a person’s teeth and mouth. Formation of an individual person’s behavior begins to know in advance about the maintenance of oral health to produce new knowledge, then followed by the emergence of a response in the form of attitudes, and ends with action. The purpose of this study to obtain data that can describe the behavior Lebakgede village communities, small hole subdistrict, Bandung. This research is a descriptive study using survey techniques with Cross-Sectional method. Samples collected by the Multi-Stage Random Sampling with a total sample of 65 people aged 15-49 years. The results showed that the village community Lebakgede, small hole subdistrict, Bandung has a good knowledge of 78.5%, a good attitude at 98.5%, good acts of 72.3%, and the behavior of a good is 90.8% to the maintenance of oral health. Conclusions from this research is the knowledge, attitudes, actions, and behaviors Lebakgede Village community, small hole District, City of London towards the maintenance of oral health is good.
